Chapter · 01
The Studio.
Rooted in proportion, functionality, and the honest use of material. Practiced in Dubai.
Identity
Cirkel.
Design and build.
Cirkel is a design and build studio in Dubai.
Every project begins with the body that will live in the room: who is here, for how long, doing what, at what hour of the day. The answers shape the ceiling height, the material, the light. The brief is the first drawing.
Why Cirkel
Four real
differences.
Each of these is a discipline the studio practices, not a claim the studio makes.
01
One authority, first brief to handover.
Design and build inside the same studio. The person who writes the brief is the person on site at the final walkthrough. No handoffs between the design intent and the built result.
02
Brief before mood board.
Every project begins with the body that will live in the room. The methodology is named and documented, not implied. You know what you are going to get before anything is drawn.
03
An international design network.
Cirkel works with a network of design collaborators across Copenhagen, Milan, and London. They bring decades of experience with proportion, natural materials, and how homes actually feel to live in — and that experience enters every project we build in Dubai.
04
Technology for comfort, not for showcase.
The systems we embed make homes healthier, quieter, and more efficient. They do not announce themselves. A Cirkel home takes care of the people inside it before it impresses the people looking at it.
What We Do
Five practices
under one authority.
Cirkel holds five practices under one authority. The brief decides which are needed. Most projects use three.
01
Interior Design
The design of the volume, the material, the light, and the way the room works for the people inside it. Where every project begins.
02
Fit-Out
The turning of a designed volume into a finished interior. Managed by the studio, built by trusted trades, held to the same standard from first day to handover.
03
Renovation
The changing of a house that already exists. Often the hardest work the studio does — and the most rewarding when the rooms resolve.
04
Joinery
Cabinetry, built-ins, wall panels, doors. Drawn to fit the room, not chosen from a catalogue. Made by a workshop that works directly with the studio.
05
Swimming Pools
Water held in architecture. Designed and built with the same discipline as the rooms around them, because a pool is a room that happens to hold water.
